 Waste gas absorption systemfor carbon activating facility  Our waste gas absorption system operates to cool down the waste gas, absorb the gas, and remove the dust from waste gas. Vertical Scrubber was normally used for this system. As hydrochloric gas was absorbed by filler method, carbon dust caused plugging and prevented the gas flow. Outlet gas density did not attain the regulation. Firstly, our waste gas cleaning system (Conditions; gas temperature: about 600℃, hydrochloric gas density: about 1%, dust density: about 2g/m3) operates void tower spraying at the gas cooling part, cool down around 80℃ and removes the carbon for 80-90% by cyclone. Dust plugging rarely occur because the filler inside the Horizontal Scrubber is completely wet by continuous spraying. Therefore, our case history includes not only gas absorption but also dust removal. As the filler is completely wet by continuous spraying, high gas-liquid contact efficiency and high gas absorption efficiency can be achieved. (Outlet hydrochloric gas density is lower than 20ppm) |
