Impervious Graphite heat exchanger |
Graphite India Ltd.-GI was established in 1964 under the cooperation of
US carbon manufacturer, and in 1984 they firstly started manufacturing
impervious graphite equipment in India under the technical tie-up with
Vicarb in France.
IGE (Impervious Graphite Equipment) division in GI manufactures and designs impervious graphite heat exchanger and related system devices from graphite material supplied by their electrode factory.
Since they dissolute the affiliation with Vicarb in 1994, they have have
exported in 35 countries such as Europe, Middle East Asia, South East Asia
and the US, by applying their technology and have been expanding their
business as a major manufacturer of graphite equipment in the world.
Features
1. |
High corrosion resistance and heat resistance |
|
There are two types of impregnant; Phenolic and Teflon® PTFE resin. Especially
for PTFE impragnant, the leakage is "zero" for air test.
Impervious Graphite is an ideal material of construction for handling highly
corrosive chemicals in chemical process industries like agrochemicals,
drugs & pharmaceuticals, phosphoric acid, rayon, PVC/VCM, caustic chlorine,
dyes and intermediates, steel pickling, copper smelting etc. |
